Cover Letters

Cover letter preparation is often more important than the resume for response on a specific job application. If you do not have a cover letter or if your cover letter does not impress the manager or recruiter they could pass up your resume completely. It would be an absolute shame to have created a beautiful resume to only have it set aside without even having it read.

A well phrased cover letter is basically a brief letter that introduces you to the manager/recruiter. It should be brief and to-the-point, and not redundant to your resume. The reader needs to be able to build an instant picture of you.
